The Passo del Pura is an Alpine pass in the Carnic Alps, in western Carnia, which connects the Alta Val Tagliamento with the Val Lumiei through a mountain road that goes from Ampezzo to Sauris. Not far from the lower pass is Lake Sauris, beyond which passed Sauris di Sotto and Sauris di Sopra there is the Sella di Rioda and the Oltrepiave Cadorino. Near the pass there is the Tita Piaz Refuge; in 2014 he saw the passage of the Giro d'Italia 2014 in the stage Maniago-Monte Zoncolan. The climb has significant slopes.
