"Corridore Ciclista" (the bicycle runner) is a statue in Piazza Terra Madre in Greve in Chianti, created by Rinaldo Lombardo and placed here in March 2016.

The 'Cyclist's Runner' was created in memory of the sculptor's cycling past. The statue would be placed on a farm owned by Rinaldo, after which his ashes would be placed anonymously. When the photo of the statue was seen by the mayor, in exchange for the necessary concessions, it was proposed to move it to the square in Greve in Chianti, where it stands today.
Since the plan to place the urn with the ashes there in the future has failed, the sculptor has created a new statue to place the ashes there: the "Grandfather and Grandson. However, it seems that the ashes still have not been Some friends who live in Piazza Gualfredotto in Florence saw the finished statue and immediately imagined placing it in their square, also because of its theme.
Rinaldo does not intend to give up the placement of his ashes, so he continues to create new works: he does not lack imagination.
