The facade of the temple in tuff stone has beautiful neo-Gothic decorations and a closing band over the entire length with the names of the two titular saints and 1879 as the year of construction. The church was the chapel of the nearby Benedictine monastery from 1880 to 1940.
At the top there is a window with casement windows and refined lines. The entrance portal, with Gothic references, has the coat of arms at the top with the symbols of Peter (keys and tiara) and Paul (sword).
The building is flanked by an octagonal bell tower with refined Gothic embroidery along the cornice.
The interior has three naves, divided by twelve columns supporting pointed arches. Interesting are the frescoes by the Palermo painter Giuseppe La Manna on the three apsidal chapels.
Noteworthy is the wooden pulpit from 1888, the work of sculptor and woodcarver Salvatore Valenti. The church became a parish church in 1940.
