Parking and check-out can be done at different locations. However, there is only one official starting point and that is in the parking lot of the Vita Parcours Steinsel (N49°40.761 - E6°06.640). The route is well signposted in two directions.

"Beautiful forests, picturesque rock formations and wide fields provide a natural backdrop. The silence that accompanies the hiker along the historical remains of the Roman temples to the banks of the Mamer will make you forget about everyday life!

The varied "Fuussepad" (fox path) promises a leisurely hike through rustic forests with high treetops, along small natural ponds and beautiful rock formations and through extensive fields. There are particularly beautiful corners on the tour, such as the hidden "Huel Kimmerchen", a rock formation with a small space, or the picturesque walk along the rocks and the fairytale pavilion overlooking the valley of the river Alzette.

The highlight is undoubtedly the Roman temple complex. The Roman villa, built in the 1st century, once had 50 rooms. With a length of 100 meters and a width of 50 meters, it is one of the largest Roman villas discovered in the Grand Duchy.

This hike is also suitable for families with children! At the starting point of the circular hike there is a beautiful forest playground with many picnic benches that invite you to linger.
