Motorcycle adventure through Luxembourg: Beautiful Routes & Unforgettable Experiences

Our motorbike adventure in Luxembourg in 2022 was an unforgettable journey full of beautiful landscapes, charming villages and captivating sights. We started our trip in Esch-sur-Sûre, where we stayed overnight at the picturesque Hotel Le Postillon. From there we ventured on an adventurous route across the country with our motorbikes, ready to discover what Luxembourg had to offer.

An Unexpected First Journey

As novice motorcyclists, we didn't really know what to expect from Luxembourg. We had heard about the beautiful nature, but we were surprised by the diversity of landscapes and sights we encountered.

Our route, which you can find in this GPX file, took us past idyllic villages such as Wiltz, Clervaux, Vianden,... We passed war monuments with impressive tanks, which reminded us of the rich history of the country. The Abbey of Clervaux, with its impressive architecture, offered a moment of peace and reflection. Vianden Castle, located high on a hill, towered above us and offered breathtaking views. In Beaufort we admired the imposing castle, which bore witness to the medieval grandeur of the region. And finally we found ourselves through the Mullerthal, a nature park with rock formations, waterfalls and narrow roads that were perfect for exploring on our motorbikes.

The Crowning glory: Luxembourg City

Our trip ended in Luxembourg City, the country's charming capital. We strolled through the cobblestone streets and admired the beautiful architecture. The city was buzzing with life and provided a perfect ending to our motorcycle trip.
