De Doornboom is a windmill in Hilvarenbeek in North Brabant. The mill is located on the Doelenstraat, next to the botanical garden and the museum De Dorpsdokter. The former owner was the Van Rijswijk family.
It is a round stone belt mill from 1856, covered with roofing felt, with a radius of 27.1 meters, which has been used as a flour mill, hulling mill, oil mill and squirrel mill. In 1905 the mill burned down completely, but was then restored with parts from other mills. The paintwork around the window frames of De Doornboom has been carried out in a typical Moorish style. The mill was discontinued in the 60s, but restored in 1972. Since then, grain has been milled on a voluntary basis.
