Renkum - Landings of paratroopers and gliders
The sky was variegated on Sunday, September 17, 1944. Hundreds of planes came over and countless paratroopers and gliders came down on the fields and fields around Heelsum and Renkum. An impressive spectacle and the beginning of the liberation of the Netherlands.
