Sint Antonius Abt is a windmill that has been on display in Borkel en Schaft since 1865. The mill is named after Saint Anthony, patron saint of the former chapel in Borkel. This stone upper porter was a belt mill that was used as a flour mill, but rye and buckwheat must have been the main products that were originally ground here. In 1908 it was equipped with an 8 hp petrol engine. However, it was underpowered and was replaced in 1912 by an 18 hp gas engine. A miller's house was also built at that time. Now they spoke of a steam and windmill, although there was no question of a steam engine.
