Just outside the built-up area of the fortified town of Groenlo, green meadows, corn fields and hedgerows are interrupted by a surprising new element: vines.
After enthusiastic stories in the newspaper about viticulture in the Achterhoek, we joined the United Achterhoek winegrowers. We still had a piece of land for which we were looking for a new destination and saw this as the completion of our farmyard. A new element, but well suited to our philosophy of rural life.
