Erve Kots is an open-air museum with a pancake restaurant and conference center in Lievelde, in the Dutch municipality of Oost Gelre.Originally, Erve Kots was an inn. At the time of the Siege of Grol, Prince Frederick Henry of Orange and his State army established their headquarters here. The inn, later a farm, was inhabited by the Hendrik Köks family until 1936.The museum houses a small brewery and an oil mill, among other things. The brewery, called the Brouwhoes, was founded in 1998. This is where the Achterhoek country beer Boksebier is brewed and also the special pilsner Frederik Hendrik. Ten hectolitres are brewed per brew. Opposite the complex (but not part of it) is the Weenink cheese farm with a shop selling local products.
