The fact that greenery can also be aesthetic is evident when you make a tour around the old Fortmond brick factory, which is located right next to the watchtower. The chimney stands like a red exclamation point in the landscape. The rooms of the brick factory in which thousands of bricks used to lie, made from the river clay, are now the domain of bats and plants. Everywhere it is lush green and on the roof plants are in bloom.
