Built in 1924, the large tram viaduct ran over the valley of the Gulp at the level of the former trout farm in Euverem, and then arrived near the current Woutergraafsweg in the valley.
The viaduct was part of the Gulpen-Margraten section. Coming from Gulpen station, the tram line ran past the locomotive shed (over what is now called the Tramweg) towards the southwest. On the west side of the Gulpenerberg (near the current Mosaqua swimming pool), the tramway ran between the parallel Landsraderweg and Molenweg/Pesakerweg to gradually drive up an ever higher slope (about 700 meters long) on the southwest and south sides of Neubourg Castle. The end of this embankment formed the eastern abutment of the 612-metre-long span consisting of 51 bridge sections, resting on 50 steel pillars on a concrete foundation. The Gulp valley viaduct had a height that varied from 8.5 to 17 meters and had to bridge the height difference between both ends. This viaduct spanned the Gulp valley with the Gulp in a fairly strong arc and crossed Euverem near the fish farm. The western abutment was located in Euverem northeast of the present bungalow park at the end of an embankment about half a kilometer long. There was a gate halfway up the embankment so that field roads could cross the tram line.
