The Sint-Gertrudiskapel is a chapel in the city of Bergen op Zoom in the municipality of the same name in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The chapel is located on the Scheldelaan in the southwest of the city near the place where the village of Borgvliet used to be. Even before 1400 there was probably already a chapel in Borgvliet and stood on the St. Gertrudisberg, a hill part of the Brabantse Wal. The chapel also had a spring. When, after dike breaches, the foot of the shore was placed on the Oosterschelde, the source was flooded all the time, after which the source became out of use. In 1580 the chapel was destroyed. In 1622 there were still walls that were removed at that time.
