House Bloemdaal

"Huis Bloemdaal"; partly dating from 1612, former ferry house that has been quite extensively restored around 1970; largely built in clean masonry without a storey, consisting of two parallel building sections on a rectangular plan and under gable roofs covered with blue Dutch tiles against spouted gables on the east side, circumferential on the west side and against spouted roof on the west side of the south façade. In the east façade with plastered plinth a 10-pane sash window and two attic windows in the northern part and a basement light, a 10-pane sash window and two attic windows in the southern part. In the south façade with plastered plinth four 20-pane windows and a 9-pane attic window, all with relieving arches with profiled brick frame and on the ground floor with natural stone blocks. In the plastered west façade there are two 10-pane sash windows, a gable stone with the coat of arms of Bloemendaal and French doors with fanlights and small rod division. In the north façade two 15-pane windows, a door with 6-pane fanlight and a 10-pane sash window. Internal: barrel-vaulted cellar under part of southern part of the building; nut and children's trusses beam layers with consoles. The extension against the north façade is not covered by the protection.
