The village church in Andelst has a special building history. The church has an Early Romanesque, single-aisled nave of which the south wall is made of field boulders. The north wall was renewed in 1794. The polygonal choir, built in 1440, has preserved wall chalks on capitals of the stone vaulting.
The church contains five tombstones from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century. The church and tower were restored in 1928-1930. The tower of the Reformed Church is a simple brick structure, built around 1400 and crowned by a short, constricted needle spire. The bell tower has a bell by H. Petit from 1784. The tower clock is mechanical, made by B. Eijsbouts in 1930 and later equipped with electric winding.
