The Jaap Bijzerwetering is a body of water that connects the Singel in Woerden with the Korte Linschoten. Up to 300 metres north of the A12 motorway, the water is called Jaap Bijzerwetering, after which it turns into the Korte Linschoten near the Polanen pumping station. The water runs behind the Polanerbaan in the Middelland industrial area, with the Linschoterweg on the other side. The Sluipwijkerpad also runs behind the Polanerbaan, but in 2012 only the first part up to the Middelland pumping station is still unpaved, the rest is a grassy dike.
