Huis Rijngoud (as it was called at the time) and the downstairs factory in 1945. Heveadorp was on the front line between September 1944 and April 1945 and the damage was also enormous. Huis Rijngoud was built in 1917 for Hevea's executives and was restored to its original state after the war. The destroyed factory buildings were demolished and replaced by new construction.
