Picturesque seepage ponds, waterfalls and narrow streams in the middle of the forest make for a romantic sight. Hills, meadows, lakes, hay meadows, heathland and historic farms complete the picture. Because the area is not accessible to motorized traffic, it is wonderfully quiet. The vast forests and picturesque villages therefore require a long cycling or walking tour.
