The Vorstengraf near Uden is a burial mound from the early Dutch Iron Age (ca. 700 BC). Because of the rich grave goods found, it is referred to as a prince's grave and is sometimes referred to as the "Prince of the Maashorst".
The burial mound is located in an extensive burial field, the Slabroekse heide, in the Maashorst nature reserve. The grave was examined in 2010 and designated as a royal grave in 2011.
The area had already been surveyed in 1923. The person in the prince's tomb was buried, while the persons in all the other graves were cremated.
In addition to a fragment of a bone and shroud, some bronze ankles and bracelets were found. Also found were pins, tweezers, nail clippers, a bead and braid rings.
