This sheepfold is located in the open field. The building has a rectangular floor plan and a wolf roof with red tiles. The facades are built entirely of brick. It is not known when this sheepfold was built.
Farms and sheepfolds were located around the lower villages and hamlets. From there, in the 18th and 19th centuries, broad sheep drives often arose that were connected to the moors on the ridge. In the current road pattern, many old sheep drives can still be recognized. They lie as side roads perpendicular to the main road, which runs along the flank of the ridge. Through the sheep drives, the farmers or shepherds brought their sheep to the heath during the day, the so-called wild lands. The flock contained about 150 to 200 sheep. They brought the farmers wool, meat, milk and manure. Because the sheep also had to drink along the way, pits were dug in places where groundwater was easily accessible.
