The ancient stream Rovertsche Leij is iconic during the route over the centuries-old estate Gorp en Roovert. The stream originates somewhere in Belgium, slips across the border and winds north towards the estate. In the worn outer bends of this stream you will often find breeding grounds of the kingfishers. Versatile forests, a rich history, fields and heathland, the variety is surprising and hikers invariably return home enthusiastically.
