Van Gogh walking route Zundert

This very varied walking route (8 km) takes you through Vincent's native village of Zundert. You will walk past six Van Gogh Monuments, past the heritage, past the places from his childhood and through the landscape with meandering streams that was so close to his heart. Open your senses and experience the origins of Van Gogh's personality and artistry. Places that he remembered with nostalgia later in life.

Stroll through Vincent's place of family life and inspiration
Welcome to Zundert, Vincent van Gogh's birthplace. From his birthplace, you walk past places from his childhood. Surprising, intimate places. Where the artist walked as a child with his parents, brothers and sisters. Where he played with all kinds of animals and made drawings of them. Where he fantasized and dreamed. About later, what he would become. But you will also visit places where there were still vast rye fields in Van Gogh's time, and where a new, park-like landscape is now flourishing. Where the street names are reminiscent of Van Gogh's sketches and paintings. How nice is that!
