Smugglers' Path - Val and Oli

Very nice walk that starts in Holland (in the Strijbeekse Heide reserve) and continues in Belgium (De Elsakker nature reserve), to return to Holland.
A good part of the route follows the tracks of smugglers. At different times (the two world wars, or during periods of recession or economic crisis), smugglers smuggled what was cheap in one of the two countries to the one where foodstuffs were overpriced (butter, salt, alcohol, etc.) in one direction or another. Signs here and there tell the story of that era.
Landscapes of moorland, forests, ponds, all dotted with many benches or picnic tables.
