Tough circular hike through the Reichswald and is therefore almost entirely in Germany. The Reichswald with its very distinctive fire tower can be seen from afar. One of the attached photos was taken from the fire tower. Beautiful view over the Sint Jansberg.
The Reichswald is a huge forest area with primeval forests and moraines. The glacial tills were formed during the last ice age and run from Nijmegen to Kleve, but also in other areas in the Netherlands. The moraines provide a number of tough climbs.
The route goes over beautiful narrow paths, over forest paths and the last part is on a tourist cycle path.

Many birds can be seen in the hiking area and with a bit of luck you will see a fox, badger, deer, roe deer or wind boar and the smooth snake.
