This is the first part of the Marikenpad for road cyclists. The Marikenpad is a reconstruction of the medieval route from Nijmegen to Antwerp. The route has eight stages with versions for walkers, recreational cyclists and road cyclists.
This part of the route is composed of the first three stages on fast cycle paths from Nijmegen to 's-Hertogenbosch. After 's-Hertogenbosch, there is no continuous route to Antwerp available for racing cyclists, but there is for sports cyclists who have equipment that can be ridden both on- and off-the-road.
