Part of the Meuse Cycle Route. This special route around the topic of the "Heroic County of Cuijk" reveals the story of many centuries of national history that come together in the Cuijk region. Stage 7 takes the visitor through the unique religious heritage of the County of Cuijk (the castle, the Carmelite Convent and the Crusaders' Monastery in St. Agatha) that remains from the time when parts of this region formed a Catholic enclave within the Calvinist Republic of the Netherlands.
