Stork nesting tour

I had already noticed the stork nests, the storks, were they young? A challenge to visit them. They fly freely, but have built their nests on the roof of the Mondo Verde birdhouse. You will feel free and have a good overview of the fish ponds of Strijthagen Castle and the Overste Hof farm .

First, the route passes by the farm and Erenstein Castle and just behind GaiaZoo . You walk via the former mining site of the Wilhelmina State Mine to the Winselerhof and then reach the destination Overste Hof. If you haven't seen enough sights yet, you can relax in the Op den Kamp van Landgraaf shopping centre and then walk through the nature development area of the Laura coal mine to the picturesque 'White Hopel' district with its picturesque chapel, which is a listed building. Via Chèvremont, a suburb of Kerkrade, we reach the Cranenweyer back to the center and the end point of the route.
