The walk "Rucphense Heide" of 11.5 km makes extensive use of narrow roads.
Some paths are not on the Topomap Benelux map.
You can start at WP "Rucphen start", N51 30.047 E4 31.536. that is at the corner of the Nederheidsebaan and the Antwerpsestraat, on the road from Schijf to Roosendaal.
Another possibility is the "parking 't Ossekopke", N51 31.019 E4 32.281. Eetcafé 't Ossekopje is the only place where you can have a drink along the way, closed on Mondays.
Along the way you have two rest benches on an asphalt bike path that winds through the area.
The track also runs a long way through what is called the "dry ditch".
Most of the route runs in the forest ; 35% runs over the purple heath because you really crisscross through it.
