Near Eklebhatti is a long suspension bridge over the Kali Gandaki.
The bridge is 100 meters long . The road only goes to the villages of Pakling, Phalyak and Dhakarjhong. If you have more time, you can go there to see Kali Gandagi valley from the other side .
A little further down the Kali Gandaki River is the second longest suspension bridge in the world : the Golden Gandaki Bridge . It has a wingspan of 567 m . The height of the bridge is 122 m above the river level . It became the second longest bridge of its kind in May 2022 after the opening of Sky Bridge 721 in the Czech Republic, previously it was the longest pedestrian bridge in the world.
The bridge has a capacity of 85 tons and can carry the load of 612 people at the same time.
