Jamtli Ostersund - a museum for the whole family!
Jamtli consists of a museum with exhibits and an open air museum with historic houses and farms. 
During summer filled courtyards of rousing historical RPG. Anyone who is fascinated by the Viking Age must see 
Jamtis heirloom, the 1000-year-old tapestries from Överhogdal. Jamtli is open year round. Come soon and visit! 
Vikings
The exhibition Vikings is the framework around Överhogdal tapestries and insert them in a temporal context. The story is presented through nine different songs from Jämtland and Härjedalens Vikings carved from huge wooden block. Sumptuous jewelery, weapons, tools and toys shown up so you will them really close. Do not miss the amazing tool set from Drocksjön, abstentions in a grave in the 600's AD, but in shape and design as the tools we use today. The tools are located in figure craftsman. When you visit the Viking exhibition "real" you can finish the visit with looking into a model of a Viking. There goes the characters around which live people!
