Wat Chedi Klang Thung faces east, features a principal lotus-shaped chedi and has a surrounding moat to mark its boundary (Udaka Sima or water boundary marker). This feature was trendy in the Sukhothai period. The main stupa consists of a rectangular base of three superimposed tiers, a base of receding tiers in the form of an overturned and upturned lotus, superimposed mouldings and the body of a lotus bud chedi with 20 indented corners.
