The church Saint Gervais houses the "punktured skull" of Saint Aubert. The legend is that archangel Michael''s finger pierced it during a dream of Saint Aubert. Saint Aubert didn''t pay attention to his request of building an oratory on the Mont Saint-Michel rock. The 2nd time, archangel Michael was driving his finger into Aubert''s skull and ordering him to complete the task, which he did. Aubert is reputed to have been buried in it.
