If you want to leave all of the beach and sea fun on one side for a while, you have choices galore:pedalcar or roller-blade along the promenade, take a brisk walk in the sand-dunes or amble through the peaceful hinterland on your bicycle.
The good news is that you don't need to make elaborate advance preparations, but merely decide to follow your whim of the moment. In every Tourist Office you will find a range of signposted cycling and walking routes and bicycles, pedalcars and even roller blades are to be found everywhere for hire at reasonable prices.
A tour by pedalcar while you get to know the promenade is a must for the young - and the not so young. The whole family or your whole group of friends can get on board and the fun that this generates is anything but in proportion to the speed that you can achieve
