Reichenstein Monastery is a Benedictine monastery located in Germany near Montjoie in the vicinity of Kalterherberg, in the Eifel region. It was founded in the 12th century as a Premonstratensian monastery on the site of an old fortified castle from the 11th century. It was abandoned in 1794 due to the French occupation. After the secularization imposed by the French in 1802, the place was sold to private individuals and its buildings were used for a time as a tile factory, and constantly as an agricultural business for two centuries, exploiting 125 hectares.
