The Ansbach University of Applied Sciences is a university of applied sciences in Ansbach, Bavaria, Germany. It was founded in 1996 and counted approximately 1,800 students as of 2008. It is the newest University of Applied Sciences in the Free State of Bavaria. The percentage of foreign students is about 6 percent. As of 2010 there are 2,300 students.
Beginning with the winter semester of 2006/07 the Bologna Process was implemented. As part of this, all academic programmes awarding the German “Diplom ” degree were replaced by bachelor's degree programmes.
