Euripus Strait

Sponsored links

The Euripus Strait is a natural narrow channel of water separating the Greek island of Euboea in the Aegean Sea from Boeotia in mainland Greece. The strait is that narrow that even with the limited tides existing in the Mediterranean you can see strong tidal currents going up and down the strait. Water flow peaks at about 12 km/hour.
