Seat of the Lordship of the Ban de la Roche, the castle of La Roche is owned by the Rathsamhausen zum Stein. The castle was built in 1180 and gradually became a den of ransom. For this reason, it was besieged in 1469 and destroyed by the Duke of Lorraine and the Bishop of Strasbourg, who then forbade its reconstruction.
Access : From the village, follow the yellow cross to the castle. It takes about half an hour to walk there.
