The Westerschelde Ferry is a bicycle-pedestrian ferry, exclusively for pedestrians and (moped) cyclists. This means that motorcycles and cars cannot use the ferry service. The final destination is Vlissingen on the island of Walcheren.
The type of boat is a catamaran (hydrofoil).
This service does about 15,000 crossings per year (2022) with 600,000 passengers.
In high season there is a departure every half hour during peak hours . In the hot low season during off-peak hours, this is every hour.
