Even if you only stop here for the view: walk from the parking lot a few hundred meters up the route with a beautiful view of the Teide!
The landscape is characterized by volcanic cones with the Sámara volcano on the left. The volcanic landscape is adorned with beautiful Canarian pines.
Slightly too small a parking lot to serve as a starting point for beautiful walks through beautiful moon landscapes . here you can choose different numbered walks. or if you're a geocacher , there are a few nearby. Good footwear with good grip can be useful on the steep pebble paths.
It is worth climbing the Samara volcano and it is also really worth climbing to the top of the Botija volcano .
Quite a climb and descent (300 meters) but doable. Very beautiful views and different landscapes.
