Charleville-Mézières became World Puppet Capital by organizing a major event in the cultural and artistic life of our country: The World Puppet Theatre Festival, which has become the unmissable event for puppeteers from all over the world.Every 2 years, in a festive and friendly atmosphere, hundreds of puppeteers and thousands of spectators take over the city and metamorphose it into a giant castelet: traditional puppets meet and interact with the most contemporary and daring puppet forms of today. The association also organizes the "Puppet Weekend J-365" every two years and many cultural activities around this art throughout the year.
