The river Vence runs through the village. The church of Saint Martin From the Romanesque church of the XIIIth century, there remains the western façade and its portal of late Romanesque style. The bell of the church of Saint Martin was offered by the Lord Jean de Boutillac in 1599. During the 1st World War, the Germans decided to melt down all the bells of the Ardennes to make shells and cannons. The bell was saved in 1917, by Mr Martinet, a teacher, telling the Germans that the French Revolution had spared it. The (German) War Ministry decided not to melt it down. On 30 September 1911, it was classified as a historical monument by ministerial order. The site of the meadow named "Espace nature Jean-Marie LELONG" is recognized by the Conservatoire Naturel de la Champagne-Ardenne as a remarkable wetland. This area has multiple interests, it serves as an overflow area of the Vence river, thanks to its humidity, nature develops generously there and a surprising biodiversity is found there. A study carried out in 2007 has identified more than 120 plant species, 19 species of birds, numerous insects, amphibians and mammals. The ecologists who conducted the study counted 25 different natural environments. This area is protected, it is not constructible. - The educational orchard of Pré Waguet is composed of 18 different varieties of apple trees. The plantations were carried out by the children of the primary school in partnership with the Town Hall and the association "Les croqueurs de pommes".
