È organizzato dalla ID&T nel parco de Schorre, nei pressi della cittadina di Boom. Il festival è famoso anche per le decorazioni fantasy che caratterizzano i palchi, dai quali appaiono fuochi d'artificio, fontane d'acqua, fumo e coriandoli. Nell'edizione del 2011 Tomorrowland ha raggiunto le 120 000 presenze in tre giorni. Nel 2012 sono stati preparati 16 palchi in cui vari disc jockey si alternavano per 12 ore al giorno, mentre durante il weekend si sono contati 180.000 visitatori.
