Description by the author

Leisure ride or good training loop. Flat and very scenic - lots of great countryside and plenty of nice pubs to stop at. Start at Tonbridge Station - short cut at the industrial estate to Tudely Lane - then stay on the main road to Paddock Wood going through Tudely and Five Oak Green. Straight over the lights when coming into Paddock Wood and past Mascalls and up the hill. Follow that until get to a main road. Turn left and stay on that main road (passing the Elm Tree pub on the left) until get to Yalding going through Queen Street and Laddingford on the way. Go left on Hampstead lane (b2162) - stay on that (passing Yalding Station) until Maidstone road (B2015). Stay on that road going over the first roundabout near seven mile lane. Turn right onto Old Road (signposted towards Tonbridge if I remember correctly) which is just after the curry house (Red Fort) and which is then East Peckham - go left on Snoll Hatch Road and follow that until Tonbridge Road (turn left again - its the next left). Stay on that road - passing the Man of Kent pub - that road turns into Three Elm Lane - keep to the left. Stay on that until Hartlake road (this is now Golden Green) - left again. Stay on there for quite a bit until you get to Tudely Lane (on the right). That takes you back on to the road you went out on - bit of a hill for the last section of that - then from there back to Tonbridge via Posten Lane (private road so treat with respect - its a good safe and gentle climb avoiding traffic and a shortcut). See the statistics tab to see the difficulty rating (not very!). The route will actually be a tad shorter as I didnt turn off at Old Road so had to turn round (not much shorter though) but that is left in the file tracked on the bike.
