Description by the author

The zero Meridian of Paris was for a long time thé zero meridian in the world (more important than the zero meridian of Greenwich). It went through the Observatory of Paris where this walk starts. But also other major axes and buildings of the city refer to or are located upon this meridian. One of them is the inverse pyramid of the Louvre (made famous by the book the Da Vinci Code).

The walk starts and ends near metro-stations, so you can reach your hotel in an easy way afterwards.
