Lanzarote (2) -North loop

A superb circular Cycle route from Nazaret (2km south of Teguise) to the north part of island. It climbs (quite gradually apart from short section) to about 590m and then amazing switch back descent on excellent road surface to Haria. Climbs again and hugs the the fantastic cliff coastal road (great views) to Mirador del Rio. Long descent to Orzola (sligth detour to village adn harboutr) and then fast flat ride back along the east coast next to the sea via Guatiza (worth stopping at cactus garden which it passes - good cafe inside). The steady climb back up to Teguise.
best done clockwise starting at Teguise - the wind is usually NE and will have tail wind along the exposed coast.
