La iglesia de Sant'Orsola fue construida en 1413 sobre una estructura preexistente del siglo XII. Ha sido renovado varias veces a lo largo de los siglos y ampliado en 1631. Afortunadamente, todavía conserva la hermosa estructura original de las bóvedas de crucería góticas.
En el interior de la iglesia de Sant'Orsola se encuentra el grupo de estatuas de los Misterios del siglo XVIII, protagonistas de la procesión del Viernes Santo. Además, merecen especial atención algunas esculturas de considerable valor, atribuidas a Gagini y su taller, y a Gabriele di Battista;
En la iglesia de Sant'Orsola también se conservan los restos de los frescos medievales de la iglesia rupestre de Santa María Magdalena . La entrada más antigua a la iglesia es la del este, precedida por la hermosa escalera.
Hoy la iglesia se utiliza como auditorio.
