Saint Martin de Tours , souvent appelé Saint Martin, fut évêque de la ville de Tours et un important fondateur du christianisme catholique en Gaule. Il était également l'un des saints les plus populaires du Moyen Âge , car malgré sa position importante, il continuait à mener une vie simple.
