Si le nom officiel de Immerhof lui vient de la ferme voisine, son surnom de Tiburce lui vient du saint du même nom, référence octroyée par ses occupants en 1940. La mission primordiale de ce P.O (petit ouvrage) était de protéger la voie ferrée reliant Thionville et Luxembourg. Au moindre danger apparent, la tourelle était réglée pour faire feu sur la menace. Dans ses 250 mètres de galerie s’élèvent de vrais espaces de vie sur deux étages, toujours en parfait état de conservation.
