Prima del 1842, la frazione di Blavepeyre (ovvero La Pierre Bleue, dall'occitano "blau" e "peyre" che significa "blu" e "pietra") era un comune a sé stante. In seguito è stato fuso con Bussière-Nouvelle. Blavepeyre era una dipendenza della Commenda di Sainte-Anne d'Eymoutiers, appartenente all'Ordine di Malta. La chiesa era annessa a questa commenda. La navata rettangolare è sormontata da un campanile. All'interno, due affreschi raffigurano i quattro Evangelisti. Il pavimento è pavimentato con lastre funerarie decorate con spade, croci e pissidi. Questa chiesa è stata restaurata ed è dedicata a San Giovanni.
