The Queyras (Occitan Cairas) is a valley of the Hautes-Alpes department, but also a regional nature park. The word Queyras is pronounced with the last "s" mute, in contrast to the habit of many visitors who often pronounce the last "s".
The valley is now famous for its tourist attractions, skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. It is crossed by the GR 58 which makes it possible to go around or the GR 5.
